“How did the American government assist in the recovery of the common individual during the Great Depression?”
The American government assisted the American government by making these programs and they were considered the "New Deal Program" They assisted American citizens by giving people jobs and building parks, cleaning trash, and building dams. Getting jobs was a big thing during this time because no one had one because they were all getting laid off.
