Must be the child or grandchild of a US Military Veteran

Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college.
Must work 240 hours each year, from January 1 until commencement of the fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation.
Applicant’s Gross Household Income reported for 2021 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $85,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total gross income received by all members of a household living under the same roof.
Must complete the FAFSA and provide the EFC. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.

The scholarship will be disbursed directly to the institution the student will be attending.
If the student withdraws from school during the time for which a refund is due, the refund will be prorated back to the scholarship fund of the Western Legacy Foundation.
Failure to meet requirements during the scholarship time period means that the scholarship will be revoked
