About Me
Welcome to the DMS Computer Class! My name is Cari Kennedy and I have been teaching for over 22 years! My path has led me down a road where I have taught middle school math, science and now computers! I also teach at the collegiate level - where I work with teachers at the masters and doctoral level - working towards a degree in Educational Technology.
I have taught in North Carolina and South Dakota and also worked with teachers and educational initiatives across the state of South Dakota. I am super excited to be working with students at DMS as we delve into the world of educational technology!

In addition to being a teacher I am a mom and a wife! I have two AMAZING kids who are in the Douglas Schools. Trenton is a 9th grader at the high school and Layla will be a middle schooler this year! I love to travel (I was in Alaska, Texas, and New Zealand this year) and explore new places. All roads lead to home though...I was born here in Rapid City!
