A Letter From Me

Dear 7th Grade Students and Families, 

Welcome to Douglas Middle School and my 7th Grade Computers class! I'm Mrs. Cari Kennedy, and I'm excited to start this new school year with you. We have a lot of fun and engaging activities planned for the year. 

In our class, you'll get to explore the exciting world of technology. We'll learn the fundamentals of computers, dive into coding and programming, and even explore the basics of digital design. My goal is to help you develop skills that will be useful in school and beyond while fostering your creativity and critical thinking. 

To ensure your success, I encourage you to come to class with an open mind, ready to learn and try new things. We'll work together to create a positive and supportive classroom environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. I'll also be available for extra help if you need it. 

I believe that learning is most effective when it's hands-on and engaging. That's why our class will be filled with projects, group activities, and opportunities for you to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios. I encourage you to bring your curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn to every class. 

I'm committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and exploring their interests.
