A Letter from Me 

Dear 6th Grade Students and Families, 

Welcome to Douglas Middle School and my 6th Grade Computers class! I'm Mrs. Cari Kennedy, and I'm excited to start this new school year with you. We have a lot of fun and engaging activities planned for the nine weeks. 

In our class, you'll get to explore the exciting world of technology. We'll learn the fundamentals of computers and explore the basics of digital design and computer applications in addition to digital literacy.  My goal is to help you develop skills that will be useful in school and beyond while fostering your creativity and critical thinking. 

To ensure your success, I encourage you to come to class with an open mind, ready to learn and try new things. We'll work together to create a positive and supportive classroom environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. I'll also be available for extra help if you need it.
