SD-ACT

South Dakota-ACT Test Date: April 1, 2026 at the Highmore-Harrold School District in the Meeting Room beginning at 8:20. 

• As of the Spring of 2026, the ACT will be REQUIRED for all juniors state-wide. The SD-ACT will be free to juniors. If a junior wants to take the ACT again, that will be at their own cost. 

• A letter was sent home in January with more infomation! 

ACT Study Materials: 

• SD My Life (Xello) and My ACT both have practice resources with proven increases in test scores! Check those out, if you have questions or need help accessing either of those, contact me. 

  • Students registered for the SD-ACT on February 11th. They have accounts and should be able to access free ACT study prep here: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/test-preparation/free-act-test-prep.html 

• I also have ACT Prep books in my room that you may borrow to study with permission. 

• Methodize on Xello (SDMyLife) has free ACT prep! Please see me if you need access to this!
