WHO AM I?
My name is Emily Gibson, and I am the new Pk-12th Student Advocate (School Counselor In Training) for the Highmore-Harrold School District.
I am originally from Miller, South Dakota, a graduate from the class of 2022. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Minor in Mental Health Services from South Dakota State University in December of 2024. I am currently working on obtaining my Master's Degree in K-12 School Counseling online from Grand Canyon University.
As I venture into this new role, I look forward to getting to know students and their families! Please feel free to reach out to me with questions. My website is a work in progress; but as I develop into this role, I will continue to update it and make it better!
