ASVAB
ASVAB is taken the October of Junior year for most. It is a test used for military entrance and aptitudes.

Smarter Balanced Assessments
Smarter Balance Assessments take place each spring. Grades 3-8 and 11 are tested. These tests are mandatory from the South Dakota Board of Education.
NCRC
The National Career Readiness Certificate is taken by the seniors in January at the school.
The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC™) is an industry-recognized, portable, evidence-based credential that certifies skills necessary for workplace success. This credential is used across all sectors of the economy and verifies the following cognitive skills: problem solving, critical thinking, reading and using work-related text, applying information from workplace documents to solve problems, applying mathematical reasoning to work-related problems, setting up and performing work-related mathematical calculations, locating, synthesizing and applying information presented graphically, comparing, summarizing and analyzing information presented in multiple related graphics.

ACCUPLACER
The ACCUPLACER is an alternative test that determines eligibility for certain college classes. It can be used in place of the ACT or Smarter Balance if those tests have not been taken yet.
ACCUPLACER tests must be taken at a university testing center and must be scheduled at least a day in advance.
