ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE
Students must be enrolled full-time in a Hawaii DOE or charter school in order to take Hawaii Online Courses classes.
Parents: To enroll your child in HOC classes, please speak with your child's school counselor or Site Facilitator who will be able to assist you. Roosevelt students must sign up on the Google form, by signing the form Roosevelt students/parents have read and agree to all the conditions as stated on the homepage as set forth by Roosevelt High School, Hawaii Online Courses, and HIDOE guidelines/rules.
Students must meet with the School Site Facilitator and/or counselor at their primary school to discuss and determine course selection(s).
Students must provide a valid email address. Gmail is preferred as other email may filter HOC messages into the spam folder.
Students may only take up to two HOC courses a semester.
School Site Facilitators register students in the desired course(s) using the online registration site, in the order received.
Hawaii Online Courses is a supplementary program provided by the Hawaii DOE and secondary courses are offered to students free of charge during the school year. (Note: HOC summer courses are fee-based). A designated School Site Facilitator is responsible for registering students for semester and yearlong HOC courses.
