● All students will be released from their classroom at 2 pm.

● For families who pick up via vehicle, please arrive no earlier than 2:10 pm as it will take time for the students to reach the pick up area fronting the parking lot and to limit traffic congestion. Students will be supervised until they are picked up.

● Until more students begin to attend the after school programs and/or ride the bus, please kokua and exhibit kindness while waiting in the traffic.

● Families of students will be allowed to wait on the benches near their child’s classroom no earlier than 1:45 pm. To maximize student learning, we ask that families do not go to the classroom until the 2:00 pm bell rings. Students whose arrangement is to be picked up at the classroom and are still waiting in the classroom by 2:15 pm will be brought to the front of the office awaiting pick up.

● Please maintain communication with your child(ren)’s teacher regarding the afternoon departure arrangements (bus, walk home (Mano or Farrington), parent or sibling pick up from the classroom, vehicle pick-up, or A+/Boys and Girls Club). If there is any change to the normal routine, please inform the teacher in advance or in the morning to avoid confusion at the end of the day.

● Mano Avenue walkers will use sidewalks and crosswalks to leave campus. ● Farrington Highway walkers will cross the crosswalk near G106

● Students who leave school during school hours must be signed out through the front office. The parent/guardian must wait in the front office for their child.

● Students who leave prior to 11 am will be marked absent and this will affect their perfect attendance.

● Regular attendance is critical for student learning. Please schedule appointments outside of school hours. The assistant principal and counselor will request a meeting with a parent/guardian in instances of frequent early releasing.

● To keep our students safe, students will not be released 30 minutes prior to the end of the school day
