Application Information

Interested in enrolling your child in the EOEL Public Prekindergarten Program?

Please complete the EOEL Public Prekindergarten Program Application Packet and submit it, along with all required documents, to Nānāikapono Elementary School.

Applicants will be notified of their application status by mail.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the program, families must meet the program's eligibility requirements.

Age Requirement

Children must be 4 years old on or before July 31 of the current school year.

For School Year 2026–2027:
Children born between August 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022 are eligible to apply.

The application packet includes information about priority categories that may affect your child's eligibility.

Online Student Registration

Complete your child's enrollment online using the Hawaiʻi Department of Education's Online Registration system.

After You Submit Your Online Registration

Your registration is not complete until you contact the school office.

Please call the Nānāikapono Elementary School Main Office to finalize your child's registration.

Additional Required Documents

The following documents must still be submitted to complete enrollment:

• 📋 Student Health Records

• Other required registration documents, as applicable

Required documents for student registration:

1. 📄 Birth Certificate

2. 🩺 Health Records

   • Updated Immunization Records

   • TB Clearance

   • Current Physical Examination

3. 🏠 Proof of Residence

   • Current Utility Bill or

   • Rental Agreement or Mortgage Statement

4. 🪪 Parent/Guardian Photo ID

5. ⚖️ Legal Documents (if applicable)
