Running Start Program

The Running Start Program is one of the Dual Credit options for students to earn college credit while still in high school.  It's open to high school Juniors and Seniors who are academically accomplished or vocationally gifted.  Running Start Program students will be enrolled in classes offered at a UH college campus.  These are actual college courses and students will be expected to rise to the rigor of the material and be responsible for managing their time between high school classes and college courses.  After the initial application period all questions or concerns about the course(s) would be between the student and the college.

Running Start Program Due Dates

The due dates below are internal deadlines for MHS students to submit forms to the MHS Running Start Counselor. This deadline is to ensure that all signatures & documents can be obtained & submitted by the MHS Running Start Counselor before the Leeward CC deadline.
