Enrollment Procedures

Kindergarten Registration

If you or someone you know has a child turning 5 years old by July 31st, please register them for Kindergarten:

1. Check if you live within Lanakila’s geographical area using the DOE’s SchoolSite Locator.

2. Prepare the following: Health Records/Form 14, Student’s Birth Certificate, and Two (2) Proof of Current Address with Parent/Guardian name on it.

Do you have a child who will be age 3 or 4?  For school year 2026-27, children must be born between Aug. 1, 2021 - July 31, 2023 to be eligible.  Priority is given to students with specific situations.  For more information, go to https://earlylearning.hawaii.gov/.  Registration opens on March 2, 2026.  Applications are online. Please stop by our office if you would like assistance with your application!
