Cordyline fruticosa

Cordyline fruticosa, is also known as the Ti plant or Good Luck Plant. Ti plant has a vibrant, sword-shaped foliage. This broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree displays leaves in a stunning array of colors, including green, red, pink, purple, and cream, often with striking variegations. 

It forms a slender trunk that carries a crown of spirally arranged leaves. In tropical and subtropical regions, people widely cultivate it as an ornamental plant. It is commonly used in flower arrangements and in making leis. 

 Ti plant holds significant cultural importance in Hawaii, where people historically used its leaves for hula skirts and food wrappers. Ti plant is revered  as a symbol of good luck and spiritual protection.
