Covered shoes and rain gear (plan for the possibility of rain)
Dress for comfort (rooms may get chilly)
If can, fo fun (Optional): Wear something (e.g., clothes, accessories) that features one or more of the following:
- Native plants or animals (Bonus: native forest birds)
- Your community/place
- Favorite color(s)

Reusable bottle (water bottle refill stations are available)
Fully charged internet-ready device (e.g., laptop, tablet, smartphone) to use as needed during the symposium. Wifi will be available on the day of the event.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided
Photos and videos will be taken at the symposium to capture this exciting event and support future professional learning opportunities like this. If you are not comfortable with photos or video, please inform someone at the sign-in table.

Registration for HIDOE staff closed on 11/29/23. The flyer and memo are provided for reference purposes only. On-site registration is not available.

Based on the information provided on the Registration Interest Form, the TSEAS reason and budget code for substitute teacher arrangements on was emailed to registered HIDOE classroom teachers.
Teachers must provide their substitute job number when signing in on the symposium date (see the email sent on 12/07/23).

Based on the information provided on the Registration Interest Form, funds were allocated to HIDOE schools/offices of registered non-Oʻahu participants for per diem, airfare, parking, and ground transportation for official travel dates and times.
Department schools/offices are responsible for arranging inter-island travel for their registered staff (see the email sent on 12/13/23).
