College, Career & Academic Planning is a lot to say, so we call it C-CAP for short.
It’s your all-in-one guide to exploring your interests, setting goals, and planning your path after high school.
Graduation is more than walking across a stage; it’s about who you become along the way.
Our Profile of a Graduate outlines the 5 key strengths every Nā Aliʻi should build before they leave high school:
College, Career & Life Ready
I can set meaningful goals and take ownership of my path after high school, making informed decisions about college, career, and life.
Effective Communicator & Collaborator
I can express my ideas clearly and respectfully, and work with others to solve problems and achieve shared goals in any environment.
Technology Proficient
I can confidently use technology to research, create, analyze, and communicate, applying digital tools to real-world challenges and opportunities.
Financially Proficient
I can manage money responsibly, make informed financial choices, and plan for a future that supports my goals and independence.
Confident & Compassionate Citizens
I know who I am, care about others, and do my part to contribute to my community.
You’ll work on C-CAP mainly during Advisory on B Days. By completing C-CAP lessons and activities each year, you build your Personal Transition Plan (PTP) a requirement by the Hawaiʻi Department of Education to graduate.
You’ll also create and update your Nā Aliʻi Digital Portfolio, which collects your best work, reflections, plans, and important documents that show your growth and readiness.
Each year, by actively participating in C-Cap lessons during Advisory, you can earn up to 0.5 credit with a Satisfactory (S) or Unsatisfactory (U) grade helping you progress toward graduation.
This site has everything you need: lessons, links, templates, and resources to guide you through each step.
Your C-CAP journey is designed to grow with you each year. Below are the themes that guide your learning and planning as you build skills, explore your future, and prepare to step confidently into life after high school.
