Senior year is your launch year. You’ll finalize all your plans and show the world what you’ve accomplished. This year is about taking action and preparing for life beyond high school.

Your quarterly focuses are:

• Q1: Who Am I?
  Finish your Personal Transition Plan (PTP) and personal statement.

• Q2: Where Am I Going?
  Submit your PTP and complete your applications for college, military, or career.

• Q3: How Will I Get There?
  Present your capstone project, update your transition plan, and prepare for life after graduation.

• Q4: What Will I Contribute?
  Complete your required service hours, finalize your digital portfolio, and reflect on your journey as you prepare to launch your next chapter.

By the end of senior year, you’ll be ready to graduate confident, prepared, and proud of the story you’ve built.

These lessons are intentionally aligned with the HIDOE Personal Transition Plan Benchmarks - 12th Grade benchmarks and are designed to support students as they:

1. Finalize Personal Statement* 

2. Complete Career Portfolio* (Job Application, Cover Letter, Resume, Thank You Letter) 

3. Complete Professional Resume* 

4. Complete Post Secondary Plan* 

5. Exposure to various entrance tests (Post-Secondary, work, etc.) (*Denotes Required)
