NON-HIDOE Readers: Create Your Beanstack Account
NOTE: New accounts can only be created via the Web. Once your account is created, you can access your account via the mobile app.
On the Web
1. Go to: http://808reads.hidoe.us and select "Administration and Community."
If you not currently NOT a HIDOE student or staff member, you will need to create a Beanstack account in the Administration and Community site to participate in the #808Reads Summer Reading Challenge.
2. FIRST TIME NON-HIDOE READERS ONLY: Scroll down to the "If you are not an employee, click on the Register an Individual or Family button to create your account.
4. If you've used Beanstack to participated in a reading challenge, click Yes; if not, click No.
5. Answer the prompts as appropriate for you and your family.
6. Complete the registration information and click Next.
7. Click Yes if you'd like to create another account; click No if you are ready to begin.
8. Once your account has been created, select the "Hawaii Summer Reading Challenge" like the image below.
Congratulations! You have successfully joined the challenge and your logged reading minutes will start counting toward our collective goal!
9. Start logging your reading and activities by clicking Log Reading and Activities at the top of the page.
10. Select Start a Reading Timer, Log Minutes or Complete an Activity.
11. Write a review by clicking Write a Review at the top of the page.
