The Summer Badge Book - Hawaii Edition is a reading log and calendar that is designed to match our summer reading challenge theme. As families track their reading on the Beanstack web application and mobile app, kids earn badges matched to stickers in the book.

The badges have congratulatory phrases that celebrate reading and learning in both Hawaiian and English. As kids track their reading minutes and activities in the Beanstack app or on the web, they can also learn or practice in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. 

The badge book aligns with the online reading challenge but is not required for participation in the Summer Reading Challenge.
