For combat specifically, our game will focus on three main weapons, each focused on a different play style that can be enhanced through a skill tree. We want the player to be able to swap between each one to match the situation we put the player in. We start the game with nothing but our fists, however as the game progresses you will unlock each of the three weapons one by one.
The final boss will use a 3 mode attack pattern. Mr. Bad’s three phases will be using the core mechanics of the game. He will have a sword phase, shield phase, and a gun phase.
The pause menu will consist of three separate subsections:
The first tab, which the pause menu will default to, will be the settings of the game. Here, there will be options to exit the game and to return to the title page, as well as to mute all audio.
The second tile will be the Skill Tree tile, which will show the skills currently acquired and will allow the user to upgrade their skills as they progress through the game.
The final tab will be the journals tab, where users can view their journals that they have acquired
