Project Objective: Create a model of a mini-train that is correctly dimensioned and created with correct tools. Furthermore, the train should exemplify a theme which corresponds to the materials in that second train car.
Design Process: I first created the parts of the mini-train while following all specifications, then, I assembled them together. Finally, I built the last train car which was supposed to correspond to a theme, particularly the Halloween theme I chose.
Learning Target: To be able to create complex pieces and show creativity in Inventor projects.
Personal Reflection: This project was extremely stressful but somewhat enjoyable. The stressful parts came from the difficulty of the parts, like the cowcatcher at the front and the wheel, I had to redraw those a couple of times and since I was under time constraints, it was difficult. Furthermore, drawing the Jack-O-Lantern in the second train car was also difficult because of how many different things I had to administer. Furthermore, dimensioning was also tough and time-consuming due to the sheer number of dimensions that needed to be specified. However, this project was very helpful in helping me showcase my creativity and talent in inventor because of the complex pieces that required intuitive thinking. I feel as though this project is my best work in Intro to Engineering,
