Students that are requesting a letter of recommendation should speak with me in person. Letters of recommendation can take a considerable amount of time to write, so students should plan ahead of time when asking teachers to write letters for them. Always give teachers enough time to write your letter of recommendation to meet your application deadlines. Students that are applying to colleges in the Fall semester should ask teachers in the spring of the previous school year. Students that are applying to other programs should give their teachers at least a month's notice for them to write your letter of recommendation. Good luck with your applications!
Be sure to ask Mr. Wall for a letter of recommendation in person rather than using email.
Plan ahead. You should ask for a letter of recommendation well in advance of the program's start day or admission deadline. It can take a few weeks for the letter of recommendation to be completed.
Complete this Teacher Recommendation Form and submit it to your teacher. It may be handwritten or typed.
Provide an addressed, stamped envelope for any program that does not use electronic submission. (Rare.)
