By June 2021, I will effectively plan in advance, lessons for distance learning and for transitioning back to campus that will foster discussions and support students success during distance learning. I will use the results of multiple six week student Google Form Surveys to develop or modify my lesson planning.
CSTP 6: Developing as a Professional Educator was identified as my strength during my Initial CSTP. When I began this year I was at an exploring and applying level in most of the CSTP areas. As the year progressed, my strength shifted from Developing as a Professional Educator to a more student focused area, Creating and Maintaining Effective Environments for Students. This change in strength was a collaboration of using technology and tools to focus on the student. The Pandemic has caused such uncertainty for students and their way of life. Transitioning from in-person instruction to a distance learning model was a big change. My inquiries focused on how I could adapt my lessons to foster students growth during distance learning. As a result my Final CSTP indicated that my strength is now CSTP 2: Creating and Maintaining Effective Environments for Student Learning.

I have changed in the way I teach this year by modifying how I deliver my lessons and how I assess my students' understanding. I had to create a new norm to best support my students while in distance learning.
I am most proud of my attentiveness to providing what is best for my students and asking for their input in determining the best method of lesson delivery. I am proud of my students for persevering through these uncertain times.
