Cal-GETC List

Completion of the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) will permit a student to transfer from a community college to a campus in either the California

State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) system without the need to take additional lower-division general education courses. For certain majors at some of the UC

campuses it may be more advantageous to complete a campus-specific general education pattern. Cal-GETC certification is valid for community college transfer students only.

This is the approved list for courses taken Fall 2025 through Summer 2026. A course can only be certified if it was approved for Cal-GETC when it was completed. IGETC

courses taken prior to Fall 2025 may be included in Cal-GETC certification if the courses are also approved for the corresponding Cal-GETC Area.
