Positive Message Collage

COLLAGE ASSIGNMENT

Create a custom graphic with a positive message!

1. Think of a message you would want to share with the school, in these crazy times!

2. Short phrase, quote, words of encouragement, hopes for a better future, ... ???

3. Trust your instincts ... what are some of your first thoughts!

4. Brainstorm a list of images relevant to your message.

1. Gravit Designer: File > New > Social Media > Instagram Post

   1. 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels

2. Minimum of 5 images (at least 3 with a cutout background; clipping mask)

3. Experiment with Opacity and Blending mode for your images.

4. Change the background color of your file by clicking anywhere on the artboard (do not select anything) ... and click on the color picker (select the dropdown box where is says "Color Fill" for more options).

5. Choose 2 (possibly 3 if done correctly) fonts according to the "rules" we discussed in the Typography assignment.

6. Experiment with Emphasis, Contrast, and Hierarchy for different words in your phrase.

7. Create your color palette (and keep a copy on your design)

8. Be creative!

To turn in:

1. File > Export > PNG from gravit (file name: Collage 1 Last First)

2. Ctrl-A (select all of your objects!) > screenshot (that includes your layers on the left hand side!) (file name: Collage 2 Last First)

3. Turn in to Google Classroom!
