Why is image size and format important?

• Images on a website are stored on the host's server, and when you visit the site, all of that data must transfer over the internet for you to view it. 

• If your device has a weak internet connection (such as slow WiFi or limited mobile data), large image files will take longer to load. 

• Therefore, optimizing images for fast loading is essential for a smooth viewing experience. 

• High-resolution images with many pixels are only necessary when producing physical prints. 

For the best camera results, set your settings to "Most Compatible." 

Apple uses the .HEIC image format, which is specific to iPhones and may not be widely compatible with other devices.
