Color Replace

For this assignment, you will be using the COLOR REPLACE tool to recolor a specific part of an image

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Find a solid colored object (without that similar color in the background.)

   1. example: yellow car, pink dress, red apple (black or white objects do not work well)

2. Recommended width: 600-1000 pixels wide

   1. Must be less than 2,048 (width or height)

3. Open the image in Pixlr/e

4. Double the canvas size: Image > Canvas size by doubling the width and height pixel numbers

5. Make 3 duplicates of the original layer (4 layers total)

6. Move each layer to a different corner of your file

7. Use the Color Replace tool to change the color of the main object in your file.

8. Increase the Tolerance to change MORE pixels within range

9. Decrease the Tolerance to change LESS pixels within range

10. Use the text tool to label which one is the ORIGINAL!
