Advanced Art

After passing your first two trimesters of art you'll be ready to dig into your creative voice. In these advanced classes you'll be planning and executing work based on themes and self expression. In addition you'll discover new artists to influence and grow your personal style. 

This trimester challenges you to put your foundational skills into practice. Grading reflects how well you apply previous techniques while learning and integrating new ones. As your skills strengthen, so will your confidence and personal voice as an artist.

ADVANCED ART SENIORS: You have the option to develop a portfolio over 1 or 2 trimesters. This is a body of work that is of your own design and execution. Think of me as your guide to keep you on track and keep you on your creative toes. Otherwise you're in charge of your creations.  (Must have passed 2 trimesters of Foundations in Art with a C or higher)

*Students who have not passed Foundational Art (A and B) will continue with the skills and projects for Foundational Art.
