In this class, we learn how to build and think in three dimensions.
Each project is designed to develop real construction skills — from layering and plane construction to building volume, refining surfaces, casting, and sewing. We’ll work with cardboard, paper mâché, plaster, and fabric while learning how different materials behave and how structure supports design.
This classroom runs like a working studio. Students are expected to plan before building, work with care, and focus on craftsmanship. Growth happens through patience, problem-solving, and steady effort.
By the end of the trimester, you will understand how to create strong forms, connect materials securely, and make intentional design decisions in 3D space.
