British Film Institute Yr 10 Trip
60 Year 10 students got the opportunity to spend the day at the British Film Institute to
explore identity and culture through films. They spent the morning working through
three short films and learning new vocabulary as well as trying to participate in French
to different activities. In the afternoon, they got to watch the film "Tomboy" on the
biggest screen in the UK (BFI Imax) in French with English subtitles. It was a nice out
of the classroom experience and one of the first time that they are using their language
skills in real life which we think is going to be beneficial for the future.
