Juab School District/Mona Elementary School Emergency Contact Plan
Step One: Formulate a Specific Emergency Statement. This statement will clearly state the nature of the emergency and the specific building or district response to that emergency.
The formulation of this Specific Emergency Statement will be the responsibility of the principal or his/her designee.
The Specific Emergency Statement will be approved by the superintendent.
The Specific Emergency Statement may be generated by the superintendent or district office.
Step Two: Provide the Specific Emergency Statement to all Classroom Teachers.
Classroom Teachers, assisted by Classroom Assistants, will call all parents and share the Specific Emergency Statement. For this step, teachers and assistants will us their personal cell phones not building phones.
Classroom Teachers will invite any student who has a cell phone to call their parents and share the Specific Emergency Statement.
Step Three: Post the Specific Emergency Statement on the Juab School District Web Site.
Step Four: Send the Specific Emergency Statement to all parents using an email list of parent supplied email addresses.
These parent email addresses would be collected at the time of registration.
School secretaries would create an email address book or books using these email addresses.
* Parents please forward your current email address to: brandi.webster@juabsd.org to be added to the emergency contact list.
Note: Steps three and four of this plan would be carried out simultaneously with the actions described in step two.
