Introduction
THE CONTINENT
The Core Continent, The Lands of Fire & Ash, Sky Nation, the North Lands. These are the lands of Mythical Kingdoms. The first region of the Core Continent is mainly plains, forest, a large desert northwest along with the Western Alps. There are also mountains to the east. The lands of Fire and ash are mainly fields of Torch trees. The region northwest is full of volcanoes and skeletons and not the nice kind. Now for the lands of Sky Nation. The main island has floating islands that flow with the tide; the rest of the island is mainly forest and tundra. Lastly, the North lands, found west of the Eastern Mountains. This region is beautiful during the spring, summer & fall but during the winter you're lucky to get out of your house or even see 5 feet in front of yourself outside. There is also the Arctic's full of snow, ice and not much more. Those are the lands of Mythical Kingdoms.
THE PEOPLE OF THIS REALM
There are many different people in this world. In this paragraph I will briefly explain the main races of the lands.
First there are the Skywings, they inhabit the sky nation islands. They harness the element of sky. Most Skywings can manipulate wind and even electricity. There is a 5 in 10 chance of a Skywing actually having wings.
Next are the Elven tribes, the Wood Elves, the Ice Elves and the Fire Elves. The Fire Elves can manipulate fire thay have great forges and use their fire to forge tools, armor, weapons and beautiful jewelry thay trade to other kingdoms for food and other goods. The Ice Elves live in the south pole and North lands. They can manipulate water, they Taught the northern people the ways of water. The humans that the elves taught later became the secretive merpeople that roam the North sea. Now for the Wood Elves, these elves live in the pinewood forest. They craft beautiful wooden jewelry like none other in the world. Their capital city is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Because it is hidden by ancient magic. The Wood Elves have mastered the ways of forest and will protect it with their lives. They treasure all life and therefore they are vegetarian.
The Dwarf Clans are the Foecleavers which live in the western mountains Led by King Harbeck.
The Tough Stones dwell in the southeastern Mountains of Umber and the Burntbeards live under the eastern mountains. Their underground cities are magnificent complex structures.
The Moonlings are people with a star pattern on their skin and can shapeshift into one animal of their choosing (which they can’t change), as long as it's not a phoenix or dragon, or any super powerful creature (they can be pegasuses tho). To choose a creature they have to see it themselves. Moonlings can also levitate objects and open portals that act like super big backpacks. They originated on a different planet and left because their previous system's star was going to explode. They colonized the 3 moons of Mythical Kingdoms. In the past they heavily relied on their advanced technology. They lost a lot of their technology because of the nova engulfing their planet, so they found other ways to survive.
Author’s notes
There are too many different races to cover in this intro, some others include the undead, goblins, humans and more. You can explore them and many other things like lore, history and magical items in other books I have written regarding Mythical Kingdoms. You may be wondering why this world is called Mythical Kingdoms. The reason behind that is every culture has a different word to say “Mythical Kingdoms” so we named it Mythical Kingdoms to capture all the ways to say Mythical Kingdoms.

Part 1:The Meeting
It was a warm sunny spring day in the capital of the Sky Kingdom, it had been two years since the Moonlings returned from their absence. King Kiyrow, a Skywing without wings because of his human heritage, had blue eyes and brown hair. He was standing on the palace’s outer wall overlooking the ocean in boredom, and right when he thought he might die of boredom one of the advisers came up to him and said.
“We've been looking for you. The meeting starts in a few minutes.’’
Kiyrow walked into the meeting room and sat down.
Kiyrow says “Sorry everyone, I lost track of time. Let's get started. General Galewind, you wanted to discuss our allies in northern Core Content, right?’’
The general was a tall man with a cloak “I got reports that goblins are cutting off supply lines. There have also been assaults on the new settlements,’’ explained General Galewind.
“Is there any way to prevent the attacks?’’ replied Kiyrow.
“We could attack them with the entire Gale force head on,” said Teb from the other end of the table. He was a short man with a beard. Some say he was half dwarf but he insists otherwise. From the other end of the table.
“No, that would not work,” said Kiyrow as he placed his hand on his head.
“But” started Teb
“It might work, but I don’t want to start a war,'' interrupted Kiyrow.
“We could ask the Dwarfs” suggested General Galewind,
“They might help. Let's try to convince the goblins to stop. In the meantime, send supply ships along with guards, and take the long route.” replied Kiyrow
“Now we have our orders, you are all dismissed.”
“Kiyrow!” said chief Constellation, as he walked into the room.
“Constellation, long time no see.” replied Kiyrow.
“This is my son Dipper.” Said chief Constellation.
“Hi Dipper. Do you know when you’re free ,so we can get to know each other?” asked Kiyrow.
“I’m free at noon. Do you know how to play the 5 Nations?” asked Dipper.
“Do I know? I could play that game in my sleep!” replied Kiyrow. “I guess I'll see you then,” Dipper said, as he walked away towards the visitor rooms.
10 minutes later. “You’re late,” Hardwind said in his usual stubborn voice. He had curly hair and brown eyes.
“Good afternoon Hardwind,” Kiyrow replied.
“Get your wooden sword out,” said Hardwind.
“We’re not doing the review are we?” said Kiyrow gloomy.
“You have to get the basics right before we move on,” said Hardwind.
“Why can't I use magic like Everyone else?” groaned Kiyrow.
“Not every skywing has air magic. Look at me, I don’t have wings or magic. So I learned sword combat.” explained Hardwind. Plus, Skywing Kings that have used their magic in the past died from the magic. Did you not learn that in History class? That should have been the first thing that taught you.” Hardwind said annoyed.
After swordsmanship class, Kiyrow walked back to the castle, which rested on a large hill. Also there was a really really long staircase. As he walked into the palace throne room he saw that they had repaired the chandelier hanging from the skylight. There had been a robbery attempt that ended up shattering one of the chandeliers but the castle guards had pinned the thief to the ground and the law enforcement arrested them.
Kiyrow found his way to his chamber to find Dipper standing by Kiyrow’s bed looking a bit annoyed.
“What’s up?” asked Kiyrow, sounding confused.
“What’s up is that you said we were going to play the 5 Nations, and you are late.” replied Dipper.
“Right, sorry, Hardwind kept me late, plus the like 2,000,000,000 stairs outside the palace are half an hour to climb.” Kiyrow said in 1 breath.
“Actually, there’s 117 stairs, not 2,000,000,000, I counted,” Dipper said.
“Anyway, let's get started, we only have like 2 hours until I have to go back to the moons with my father,” said Dipper.
Part 2: The Five Nations
The five nations in the world are the Sky Nation, the core continent, the Lands of Fire and Ash, the Northlands, and the moonling tribes. The game of the Five Nations is a game where players try to conquer the other kingdoms until the other player surrenders.
- 2 hours into the game -
“Just make your move already,” groned Dipper.
“Patience, I need to think,” said Kiyrow.
“You’ve been thinking for the last 10 minutes!”
Kirow finally moved, and Dipper, relieved to not be waiting any longer, rolled the die and got a 5.
“I win,”said Kiyrow in a calm voice.
Dipper, utterly confused, looked down at the die and saw that he rolled a five and Kiyrow rolled a 12 realizing that he got up.
“Let’s have a rematch next time I’m here,” Dipper said.
“Sure,” responded Kiyrow.
“Well, I gotta go, my dads probably waiting at the ship.” said Dipper, sounding a bit disappointed.
When they got to the harbor, they saw Constellation waiting at a ship with his royal guards standing on either side of him.
As they greeted him, Kiyrow said, “hopefully this whole conflict comes to an end in the near future.”
Part 3: King of the Dwarfs
- The next day -
“Your majesty, King Harbeck requests to speak with you,” one of his guards said, as they walked into the room.
“Send him in,” replied Kiyrow.
“Greetings Harbeck. What brings you here these fine days,” said Kiyrow, as Harbeck and his guards walked in.
“These fine days.” grumbled Harbeck, confusion and a tint of anger in his voice. “do you not know what is happening in the world?” Harbeck continued.
“Well… I” Kiyrow started.
Harbeck interrupts “The Northern Kingdoms are under Constant Siege by goblins. The lands of flame are being threatened by hordes of undead gathering at the edge of the west wall!
“O-ok well I suppose that you came all that way to tell me that,” said Kiyrow.
“No.” said Harbeck “ I came because my people are trying to complete the Library of Runes. We humbly ask for your permission to search the Great Library.”
“Yes. you may enter the library, just remember we have that meeting at noon tomorrow with Constellation”
“Yes I know, and just keep this between us ok. Said Harbeck as he walk out
- A few minutes later -
“Where is the scroll of the moon runes,” said Constellation in a sharp tone.
“Harbeck is probably on his way to the great library,” Kiyrow replied.
Constellation stormed out of the palace mumbling under his breath
Part 4: Kiyrow
“Keep an eye on our guests,” Kiyrow said to a person in the shadows. The hooded figure nodded and jumped up a pillar and through an opening in the skylight. Kiyrow was about to get up when a man ran in, completely out of breath clutching a rolled up piece of paper. The man held up the paper and pointed at Kiyrow then he handed it to one of the guards assisting him again he pointed at Kiyrow. The guard unrold the paper, his eyes scanning the page. Seconds later he cleared his throat and he read his “tomorrow at noon.” He turned the paper to face Kiyrow. There was a scribe that looked like a skull with a crossbow.
“Get this man some water. find out any additional information. oh and I think it would be wise to set more patrols on the side of the island facing the mainland,”said Kiyrow. He turned back towards the throne. “Generale Lindin,” Kiyrow said. Tell the other generale to meet at the palace for an early lunch.”
“Yes sir,” replied Lindin.
Kiyrow made his way to his quarters, opened the door and walked in. He placed the crown on the stand that he had placed it on every night since his coronation. He walked over to the balcony overlooking the ocean. As Kiyrow watched the waves crash along the rocky coast line he felt calm but still unsure about the future of the world or this growing threat on the mainland. The sky was an orangey red as the sunset in the west. Kiyrow turned into the doorway and walked inside.
