Classroom Management

We will follow the Nichols Middle School SOAR Classroom Behavior Management Model. In my classroom, I have a tracking binder that will track the Steps 1 through 3 that are Level 1 Infractions. Level 1 Infractions are those things that are considered persistent classroom disruption. The steps are: Step 1) Redirect through student conference, Step 2) Consequences such as a seat change or another structured choice, Step 3) Parent Contact and Lunch Detention. I am excited to build a relationship with your child and I am confident that we will have a great experience in the Nichols Art Room!
