All About Me

My name is (Danis) D'Ann Roberts.  This is my fifth year with Joshua ISD and I am so excited to be a part of the awesome Nichols community of learners! 2024-'25 will be my 19th year as an educator, previously teaching in two other neighboring school districts.  Before teaching I was in the field of advertising and worked with artists and printers to create ads.  I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Texas in Arlington with a concentration in graphic design.

My family is very important to me, and that includes my husband and three adult children. My oldest son lives in Burleson with his wife and three children, my middle son lives in North Carolina with his wife and baby boy, and my daughter is currently living and working in the Frankfurt, Germany area. I love teaching all the many disciplines included in Art, and I feel like I am exactly where I am supposed to be at this phase of my life. I'm glad you are in my class and I am looking forward to an ART-rageous New School Year!
