Prevention of Sexual Harassment

HARASSMENT

Harassment can be described as unwanted physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct, which has the purpose or effect of affecting an individual’s dignity at work and creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment. The important feature of this behavior is that it is unwanted by the recipient and unwarranted by the working relationship.

Depending on the circumstances, such harassment may also include conduct such as stereotyped or demeaning remarks or gestures or the display or circulation, whether in writing or electronically, of materials or pictures offensive to persons because of their race, caste, religion, creed, color, citizenship, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis.

At Josh, dignity, and respect for everyone are paramount. And we will go to all extent possible to ensure that. Despite our best efforts, cases like these happen! And we need to act, as we have in the past.

If you come across any incident that reflects sexual harassment, or you are a victim of it, show moral courage and report it at posh@joshtalks.com
