2. What do I need to bring to class?

    • History Notebook, pencil, a good attitude.

3. Where do I turn in my Assignments, Tests and Quizzes?

    • At the back of the room in the file folder for your class.

4. Handing in Late Work?

    • To succeed on Quizzes and Test you must hand in all your notes and assignments. This is your ticket to the test. I want you to succeeded and I also want you to be accountable. Have all assignments stapled with provided checklist before taking the test.

5. What if I missed class and didn’t complete assignments?

    • Life happens I get it. I will provide class makeup work for you to do so please ask. I am here to help you succeeded

6. Cheating

    • Cheating will not be tolerated. If you complete the assignments for the test, you should have no reason to cheat on the tests. If found cheating, you will be subject to no points on the test.

7. Bathroom Break

    • You do not need to disrupt class by asking to go to the bathroom, quietly get up right your name on the whiteboard next to the door, place yellow vest on and go. Then when you return reverse the order.

8. Classroom discussion

    • I love questions and ideas to my prompts, voice your opinion, but be respectful of others opinions. Raise your hand and wait quietly for me to direct you. This is a learning community.

9. End of Class

    • During the last 5 minutes of class you need to cleanup, push in your chair and formulate an answer or question to the bell prompt I provide. This is your ticket to leave the class.

10. Getting what you want out of class

    • I want you to get the most out of your education. Your opinion and classroom ideas are important to me, so outside my room is a suggestion box that you can anonymously leave ideas how I can better improve your education. Anything from more time on the tests, to expanding more on a topic you enjoyed. I want to know your ideas don’t be afraid to let your voice be heard!

Absents and Late Work

Being in class is vital for collaboration and discovery of certain key elements to success. The topics covered in every class build upon one another and missing class could delay success and learning. However, there may be days that a student needs to miss ( i.e. illness). It is the responsibility of the student to get any missed work. If a student has an excused absent they are expected to find out the material, they missed or visit the class website. If the student has an unexcused absent late work it cannot be accepted.
