Meet Mr. Jensen, a seasoned educator from the quaint town of Monroe, Utah, now in his sixth year at Herriman High School. His academic journey began at Utah Valley University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in History & Social Studies Education. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters in Education Technology, further honing his skills.

Mr. Jensen harbors a deep passion for Social Studies and Civic Responsibility, and he relishes uncovering new information about historical figures. When he's not immersed in researching or discovering thrilling historical insights, you'll find him traversing Utah's back-country, dedicating his time to volunteer work with the Boy Scouts Of America.

A man of many interests, Mr. Jensen cherishes the beauty of the Utah mountains, the joy of duck hunting, and the warmth of family time. He entered the teaching field driven by a lifelong aspiration and is eager to explore the new adventures that lie ahead.

My Passion for Teaching stems from the great role models I had growing up. I found out early on that through hard work and dedication anyone can succeed!!

Teaching Philosophy

I believe the key to academic success stems from developing meaningful relationships with my students. Education plays a big role in shaping minds but so does emotional relationships with friends and family. Students need to be able to share their ideas. This course it motivated by what we learn from our relationships and distinguishing what is fact. I am very excited for you to explore your ideas and generate new concepts from political ideologies.
