The mission of the Utah Parent Center (UPC or Center) is to help parents help their children, youth and young adults with all disabilities to live included, productive lives as members of the community.
We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support, valuable training and effective advocacy based on the concept of parents helping parents.*
*The term parent is broadly defined to include anyone serving in that role.
Free and Confidential services that include: Self-advocacy assistance • Information and referrals • Training and education on disability rights • Technical assistance to service providers, government agencies, organizations and attorneys • Investigation and monitoring of abuse and neglect in government facilities, residential facilities, and the community • Negotiation and if necessary, legal representation • Public policy advocacy

Allies With Families offers wellness programs tailored for the whole family.
DSBVI offers a variety of services including a training and adjustment center which offers classes for a student that is transitioning out of high school. They will help you prepare for college, independent living, and more to reach your goals. Classes offered include Cane Travel, Braille Literacy, Computers and Adaptive Technology, Home Management, Wood Shop and Needle Arts.
