Color Guard

The color guard is the ceremonial team for the Mustang Battalion.  It is designed to train drill and ceremonies and military professionalism. Four person color guard teams are sent to different events, ranging from store openings to graduation ceremonies, that have requested a color guard. Color guards can consist of a few different things: presenting the colors at the opening of a ceremony, posting the colors at the beginning of an event, or marching with the colors, such as in a parade. Color guard members train and perform color guards throughout the year, including during the summer. Once per quarter, color guard teams are required to certify to prove their skills.

Color guard as a whole is divided into teams of four cadets: two guards and two flag bearers. Each company has at least one color guard team that can be sent out to perform color guards. All the color guards compete monthly to earn the title of Honor Guard, signifying that they are the best of the best.

Veterans Day

Covid-19 may keep us from being there in person to thank our Veterans, but our Veterans are always in our thoughts. This is for you! Thank you for all that you have done for the world.
