Solo Audition Information for "Brand New Day"

There are FOUR solo opportunities in "Brand New Day."  Students will need to perform ALL four solos (the first part of the song) for their audition.  Specific solos will be assigned by Mrs. Crawford after auditions.  

Students need to be able to:

• Singing alone in their audition 

• Attend the Spring Showcase on Friday, May 8th 

• Blend with other voices 

• Attend choir rehearsals regularly 

• Perform the solos without the vocal track

Solo #1

Solo Audition for "Stand Up"

Students will sing both solos for their auditions. 

Solo #1:

All the lonely people cryin'

It could change if we just get started

Life the darkness, light a fire

For the silent and the broken hearted

Solo #2: Note- This solo must be strong VERY confidently because the entire choir will be singing a different melody during this solo.
