African Drums

The African Drums will be performing at the JHS Homecoming Tailgate on Friday, October 2 from 5:40-5:50 PM at the Hurricane Alumni Plaza.  This is the area located by the PAC at the High School.  This should be a fun performance for our community.  You will need to drop-off your student by the JHS Performing Arts Center (PAC) Lobby at 5:15 PM. We will meet in the lobby and walk to our performance area.  Parents and friends are welcome to assist their child in moving their chair and instrument to the plaza area. This is a really fun and quick performance. Your students should still be able to attend the tailgate and other festivities that will be happening at this event. 

After the performances, students will need to carry their drum and chair back to the PAC before they leave with you.  All our equipment will be stored in the lobby of the PAC.  Please make sure your child knows to meet your in the Lobby of the PAC.  Your child needs to be picked up by 6:00 PM if you do not plan to stay for the tailgate festivities. 

Students will need to wear black and gold for this performance.  Your child is encouraged to be decked out in their homecoming spirit attire! No school spirit attire will be too much for this performance! They may also choose to wear any Jonesboro/VPA school shirt.
