VPA Showcase Dates
The African Drums are set to perform at both VPA Showcases this year. The VPA showcases will take place at 6:30 PM at the Jonesboro HS Performance Art Center. Admission is free.

Black History Month
Black History Month
One of our favorite performances of the year is performing for the students at the Jonesboro Pre-K Centers for Black History Month. We always have a great time performing and sharing a piece of culture that represents the history of the tubano and djembe drums.
African drumming includes several elements such as singing, dancing, and storytelling. We spend the entire year exploring and learning about African drumming.
