Kaylee’s opinion about Raising Canes

In my opinion I think that Canes are so good,because the chicken is so good and the crunch of the chicken is so bussin. Why I also like Raising Canes is because the lemonade is the best lemonade I ever had and I’m not exaggerating,but that’s my opinion. Some people probably disagree.My third reason why I love Canes so much is because of their sauce.This may sound so weird but I ate two packets of sauce with nothing else just the sauce packets.I also really love their fries there so crunchy and salty. That’s my opinion about Raising Canes

Raising Cane’s is a popular fast-food restaurant. It is best known for its sauce. In my opinion Raising Cane’s has really good food. My favorite thing about Raising Cane’s is their chicken finger and their sauce. The sandwich combo and the three finger combo is really good, so I would definitely recommend it. 

Fried Chicken Recipe Review 😩

My not-so-secret tip to the best fried chicken is a combination of FLOUR, CORNSTARCH, and BAKING POWDER. When mixed with the flour, the cornstarch makes the flour coating crispier and gives it that golden brown color! (It has to do with prevention of gluten development.) The baking powder reacts with the oil and creates tiny air bubbles, which also helps form a crispy coating. Traditionally, some cooks will recommend using sparkling water or egg but I think my mix works even better (and saves you time & extra steps!)

The lactic acid in dairy breaks down the proteins and collagen in the chicken, which softens the flesh and will make it more tender when cooked. By piercing the chicken, you’re allowing the dairy to reach farther in and tenderize more of the meat! If you don’t have milk, water brining is still better than nothing. (Brining is optional but I always recommend it, if you have the time!)

Make sure to spoon some of the leftover brine to your seasoning mix (flour/cornstarch/baking powder) and rub them together to create the craggily bits we all love! They’ll stick to the chicken and create the perfect texture!

Do not let your frying oil drop below 325 degrees Fahrenheit when frying! I highly recommend you use a thermometer to keep an eye on the temperature. If you see it dropping below 325F, fry your chicken in batches, as it is likely due to crowding. Frying at a low temperature will result in too much moisture (AKA SOGGY).

I highly recommend you use a meat thermometer to check your chicken once fried – you want the internal temp to be at 165F. Undercooked chicken can lead to food poisoning, so always check on the side of caution!

I like Wingstop because it isn’t just selling one flavor, they sell over 10 different flavors! And including boneless or bone in. Another reason I like Wingstop is because they have many different varieties of things to buy then eat. Also different types of wings. Reason number 3 is that Wingstop has an app where you can order and have it delivered to your door. Thanks for reading 

Food Review: Raising Canes

   Raising Canes is one of the most extraordinary growth stories in the country right now. System sales grew 31% from  2022-2023 and has tripled over the past 6 years. The chain currently has more than 700 locations and I’m not sure how. 

   The service at this fast food “restaurant” is great, phonomenal, extraordinary, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that the food is mid’ at best. The service is the only good thing about going there 6/10. The Fries at this place are so extremely bland that I would rather eat sidewalk chalk 1/10. The chicken isn’t much better. On a scale of 1-10 the chicken gets a solid 3. I don’t really understand why people leak the recipe to the “special” sauce, the world would have been a better place without it, I’m being generous when I say it’s 2/10. The seasonal lemonades are a waste of money, it’s not special, it’s just food dye! 

   If you want an actual top-tier fast food chicken restaurant, go to charlotte’s kitchen, or even McDonald’s, it would be slightly better.
