WORLD CUP

The World Cup is a soccer tournament when countries that qualify for it all around the world compete for the World Cup trophy and the title.As you may know Argentina won against France with penalties the score was 3 to 3 with Argentina scoring 4 penalties to win while France only scored 2.The people who scored the most were Messi and Mbappe with 8 goals and Martinez winning the goalkeeper award.The world cup happened in Qatar.The world cup only happens every 4 years.The final game started on the 18 of December.I think Messi did the because most of his goals weren’t penalties like Mbappe’s goals.

So the football records for this season is 8-4 for over all scores and for conference records there is 3-2 some teams we played where Waukee and the score was 10-6 and we also played urbandale and the score was 24-7 and here’s a picture of the football this season.

Who came up with the World Cup? Well the fifa World Cup was first held in 1930,when fifa,the world's football governing body decided to stage an international men's football tournament under the era of fifa president Jules rimet who put this idea into place. When did the fifa World Cup take place?
It took place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022, making it the first World Cup held in the Arab world and Muslim world, and the second held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan. Why do people like the world cup?With ear-splitting horns, perhaps designed to keep the crowds more ruly, fans have gathered every four years since 1930 for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup, apart from 1942 and 1946. Out of 18 tournaments, Brazil tops the list of winners with five.
The World Cup is the world's most widely viewed sporting event; an estimated 715.1 million people watched the final match of the 2006 World Cup held in Germany. The current World Cup is being held in South Africa from 11 June to 11 July 2010, and the 2014 World Cup will be held in Brazil.
