Com 104 Online Speech Requirements

This online class involves public speaking; therefore, the following outlines the specific responsibilities that each student assumes as part of the course. Any student who is doubtful about their ability to fulfill all requirements for each speech should consider taking the Com 104 class live. In the live classes the requirements listed below are fulfilled as part of the class just by showing up. Thus the Com 104 online class requires extra work and resources to meet the same speech requirements as the live class. Additionally, the consequences for not meeting the Com 104 online requirements will have a negative impact on one’s grade.
This course requires two formal speeches. One informative speech and the other is a persuasive speech. Please review the guidelines for both speech obligations below. Please note that there are some differences in the time and audience requirements between the two speeches.
