On Tuesday March, 14th new members were inducted into the National Honor Society. National Honor Society students are selected by invite only. Students cannot apply to be in it. To be chosen, the student must be in the Honors class, must have a 3.5 or higher, and have good behavioral standings. The student must also be involved in school extracurricular activities and in the community. It is an honor, not a right to be in the National Honor Society.
Senior Members talk about the Patriot Chapter of the National Honor Society.
Maintaining National Honor Society status gets harder from year to year. Each year, new members are honored for their continued academic success.
New members pledge and receive their certificates.
The Ceremony is followed by a banquet and pictures are taken.
