Mrs. Guedry was recently chosen by the Francois de Lery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution as a regional winner and State winner for Outstanding Teacher of History. Mrs. Guedry was chosen for her outstanding service by stimulating a deeper understanding and appreciation of History and loyal support of our country and constitutional government. JCCS is blessed to have Mrs. Guedry as a teacher. If you see Mrs. Guedry, congratulate her on this wonderful recognition and accomplishment!
"After my school closed the summer of my junior year, Mr. Curtis Sr. offered for our schools to merge. I graduated from Curtis in 1989 then came back to teach after earning my degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. I've been teaching Math at Curtis for a total of 26 years. (Sidenote: My uncle played football, basketball, and track at Curtis and graduated from John Curtis in 1975 )."
Outside of school, Mrs. P. likes to go watch her students perform their extracurricular activities. She loves to watch them do what they love to do. A fun fact about Mrs. P is that she fell off a horse...in Tennessee red mud...after it had rained. When she got up, her shoe and backside got stuck in the red mud.
This is Mrs. Muller's fourth year teaching at Curtis. She teaches both chemistry and physics. While Mrs. Muller is not at school, her favorite things to do are go to church, cook, travel, and spend time with her family. She attends Riverside Church, which is located in River Ridge. A fun fact about her is that she has a librarian certification in addition to her teacher certification.
