"Chapel and sporting events"

What was your favorite toy growing up?

"A little red moped jeep" 

Why did you decide to coach sports?

"I wanted to be like my grandpa" 

Fun Fact: Coach Paige has a real Jeep now.

What do you like and dislike about teaching?

"I like being able to work with a different variety of students, but i dislike when students talk over me when i'm teaching."

What's your favorite grade to teach and why?

"Tenth and eleventh ; because they're more independent, im able to teach them at a higher education, and they communicate better."

What's your favorite biology experiment?

"Any hands-on dissection"

Fun Fact: She has 2 dogs, 15 chickens, 1 goat, and 1 bearded dragon living with her; a total of 19 animals.

How long have you been interested in art?

"Since i was a young child"

What's your favorite art project

"The Watercolor landscape project and the hero portraits"

How do you encourage students when they feel doubtful in their work?

"I remind them to trust the process, and that perfection is not the goal"

How long have you been working at curtis 

"This year is my fifth year."

Fun Fact: She can peel a banana with her toes.

Why did you decide to coach in addition to teaching? 

"I wanted to have an impact on students lives outside of the classroom."

How do you balance work and your family life? 

"When I'm working and coaching at school I don't have much time to spend with my family. So, I'm fortunate that they support what I do."

What's your favorite history topic?

"The Civil War"

Why did you decide to work at Curtis? 

"I've known the Curtis family for a long time, and I love what they stand for."
