Wondering how to get back into the routine after Midterm Exams and Christmas Break?
Here's some help!
We know that the weeks leading up to midterms are very stress inducing. Once the exams are over, everyone gets to go home for a couple of weeks and wind down. Whether students go on vacation, stay at home, or hang out with family and friends, everyone has a fun time and gets used to not going to school.
Not everyone likes to go back to school after a long break, so it can be hard. I’m here to help you get back into the groove. The night before school make sure to get enough sleep and start up your normal school schedule. Wake up in the morning with a positive attitude about the day to come. Think of the friends you’ll see and the laughs you’ll have throughout the day. Look forward to the conversations you'll have about the break. Remember, just because midterms are over by that point doesn't mean to stop trying. Start off the new grading period the best that you can. Once you let your grades get behind it's hard to catch up! So when starting the week back up, still pay attention and try your hardest. Optimism and consistency will get you where you need to go. It will be a new year so start off strong!

Advice from Teachers and Administration
Advice from Student Counselor Mrs. Kelsey Eutsler
Do you have any advice for students who tend to give up after midterms? Set small goals that are attainable, have positive self-talk, and find ways to stay motivated to get through the end of the semester.
Advice from Mrs. Muller
What advice would you give to students who have trouble getting back into a routine? For a couple days before school try to wake up with an alarm clock. Start trying to get back into the habit of going to sleep on time. It also helps to plan out the night before school and make sure you have everything you need: pencils, notebooks, papers, etc.
Good Luck on Midterm Exams and Merry Christmas!
