The film team entails livestream and filming plays for football and other sports teams. Being on the film team has many benefits such as scholarships for college, getting into games for free, and learning how to work with technology. You can even earn a letterman jacket for being part of a Varsity team sport. Building relationships and becoming involved in school is also a bonus. Interact Club is a service group open for all ages. The group is run by Mrs. Guillie and the officers, Abbi Curtis and Cassadie Worley. The Interact Club goes to the lower school every two weeks to read to the younger kids and help out the teachers. They also do other service projects such as packing for Operation Christmas Child, face painting at the Trunk-or-Treat, and painting on cars for State Championship. Key Club is a international service club that is student run. Mr. Simmons is the teacher that watches over the meetings but the officers run the meetings. The President is Aniston Austin, Vice President is Cameron Bruno, Treasurer is Sydney Steward, and Secretary is Patricia Peters. The Key Club has done many service projects such as Trunk-or-Treat, planning the Homecoming Dance, working in the blood drive, and Key Club week.
If you are interested in joining Key Club for next school year, attend the Key Club meeting next Wednesday, May 3, at 2nd lunch in the Chemistry Lab.
Student Council has representatives for each grade and they are the voice of the students. The supervisor of Student Council is Mrs. Kelsey and the officers are the seniors in the club. Student Council helped plan Prom, sang at St. Francis Assisted Living home, and helped run the book fair. If you are interested in joining Student Council next year, let Mrs. Kelsey know.
Spirit Club is a club for anything having to do with school spirit. Spirit Club is ran by Mrs. Bennett; The officers are Abbi Curtis and Cassadi Worley. Spirit Club makes all of the signs for the student sections, chooses the theme for student sections, they make the state bags for all sports, and coordinate to make fun buses happen. If you are interested in joining Spirit Club, for next year, please see Mrs. Bennett.
If you are interested in being a manager for the 2023-2024 Football season, make plans to meet with Coach Jeff Berger on Monday, May 1st after school in the training room. The meeting will only last about 15 minutes.
