CAS experience entered into ManageBac at the beginning of the semester
Entry exhibits both structured and informal forms of reflection and evidence
Reflections and evidence are purposeful, timely, ongoing
Long-term = A season or a semester (3 learning outcomes and 3 reflections)
Short-term = Approx 4 weeks (2 learning outcomes and 2 reflections)
Volunteer = a day or weekend (1 learning outcome and 1 reflection)
Reflections should indicate the learning outcomes achieved
The reflection describes a specific moment, discovery, skill, challenge, emotion, or achievement
Reflection is honest, personal, and articulates an emotional response to the experience
Reflection is rooted in the individual perspective but looks outward and onward with inquiry and insight
Demonstrates self-awareness of the process and progress of learning outcomes
